This indoor family entertainment center project has been successfully completed for our customer in Kenya. The entire venue covers approximately 1,200 square meters and can accommodate up to 170 visitors at the same time.
The indoor amusement park includes a wide variety of attractions designed for different age groups. For younger children, there are sand pits, ball pools, slides, soft play areas, and a carousel. Teenagers can enjoy more challenging attractions such as obstacle courses, basketball areas, climbing walls, spider walls, and free jumping zones. There are also many interactive attractions suitable for both adults and children, including giant slides, wipeout games, trampoline areas, and tap fun games.

To make the venue more interesting and competitive, we also recommended adding an arcade game zone. The arcade area requires extra payment, where children can exchange coins to play games. At the same time, the customer also sells snacks and drinks inside the venue. After playing for a while, children usually stop to rest and buy food or beverages before continuing to play. Surprisingly, the customer reported that snacks and drinks account for nearly 60% of the total sales revenue, which exceeded everyone’s expectations.
Every attraction inside the park is very popular among children. Younger kids especially love the sand pit and can spend the entire day playing there. Slides are also one of their favorite attractions. Teenagers are always eager to challenge the climbing walls because of the excitement and difficulty level. After finishing one activity, they immediately want to try another one. Many children play until they are sweating heavily but still do not feel tired. Parents often say their children do not even want to go home after entering the park. Because of this, many families choose to purchase seasonal passes or annual memberships to enjoy discounts and visit more frequently.

The reason we designed the venue this way is because the customer had a very clear goal from the beginning — to create a true family entertainment center. The location is inside a famous shopping mall in Kenya, so there is no need to worry about customer traffic because the mall already attracts large numbers of visitors every day. Although the rent is relatively expensive, ticket prices are also higher because the target customers are middle- and high-income families who are willing to spend money enjoying quality family time with their children.
That is why we intentionally included many parent-child interactive play areas in the design. Parents can play together with their children instead of simply watching from the side. For consumers, this creates a much happier and more memorable experience because there are very few indoor playgrounds in the local market that can offer this level of entertainment.
From a business perspective, this model is also much more profitable for the investor. Since both adults and children need tickets, the customer can earn revenue from both groups. In addition, parents naturally take care of their own children, which reduces the need to hire a large number of extra safety staff. This creates a win-win situation for both customers and the business owner.

Since opening, the venue has remained extremely busy, receiving nearly 500 visitors every day, with even larger crowds during weekends and holidays. The customer successfully recovered the investment within just six months. Many families now visit the shopping mall specifically because of this indoor family entertainment center, which also helps increase traffic for the mall itself. It has become a mutually beneficial partnership for everyone involved.
Now, our customer is already preparing to open a second family entertainment center. If you are considering starting an indoor family entertainment business or are still hesitating, feel free to contact us anytime. The earlier you enter the market, the sooner you can build your brand and capture market share in your local area.
