This trampoline park was designed for our client in Panama. The total venue area is about 1,200 square meters, with approximately 1,000 square meters dedicated to the trampoline park equipment. The park officially opened in 2022 and has been extremely popular since its opening.

The park features a wide variety of exciting attractions, including ninja course, wipeout, foam pit with climbing wall, professional trampolines, basketball area, tap fun, slackline, battle beam, free jump area, and an indoor soft playground, providing fun experiences for both kids and adults.

The business has been very successful, especially on weekends and holidays, when the park is often full of visitors. The facility can accommodate up to 215 people at the same time, making it one of the largest indoor entertainment playgrounds in the surrounding area. Many families and groups even drive from nearby cities to enjoy the park.

Trampoline Structure Height & Safety Standards

According to ASTM and PAS5000 standards, the minimum ceiling height required for indoor trampoline areas is 5.2 meters from the floor to the lowest obstacle in the roof space.
Trampoline bed height: approximately 864 mm above the floor.
Angled trampoline slope: between 45° and 60°, ensuring optimal rebound performance and safety.
Containment netting height: at least 4.0 meters from the trampoline bed, providing full protection to prevent users from jumping outside the play area.
This design ensures adequate jumping clearance, excellent safety protection, and compliance with international trampoline park standards.

Performance Trampoline Area Requirements

Our performance trampoline area is designed with safety, comfort, and professional standards in mind. Every dimension follows international trampoline park guidelines to ensure the best experience for advanced jumpers and athletes. Generous Overhead Space To allow safe flips and high jumps, the ceiling height must be: 6.5 meters above the trampoline bed (for 6 mm web or string beds), or 5.0 meters above the bed (for 13 mm web beds). Stable Trampoline Height Each trampoline frame is installed at least 1.2 meters above the ground, providing a strong and balanced jumping platform. Safety Barriers & Netting The area around the trampoline must include a solid safety wall of at least 1.2 meters high, combined with durable containment netting to fully protect participants. Safe Distance Between Beds There should be a minimum 2.0-meter gap between trampoline beds, filled with soft dismount matting for secure landings and transitions. Optimized Layout for Performance When using both horizontal and vertical trampolines, the design ensures safe spacing, proper padding, and clear landing zones to maximize both performance and protection. Trampoline Safety Padding Requirements
All walls, obstacles, and flooring within 1.5 meters around the trampoline area must be covered with protective padding to ensure maximum safety for users.

1.Park Trampoline (Standard Type):
All surfaces of the trampoline framework that are exposed to or accessible by users shall be padded with impact-attenuating materials.

2.Padding Installation:
The padding must be securely attached to the trampoline framework or beds to prevent displacement during use.

3.Impact Performance:
All installed padding shall comply with ASTM F355-16 standards and must have an impact  gmax value of 100 or less, ensuring effective shock absorption and user protection.
This requirement ensures a safe jumping environment by minimizing injury risks from accidental impact with surrounding structures.

Foam Pit Safety Standards
Our foam pit design follows international safety guidelines to ensure a secure and enjoyable jumping experience.
Containment Walls:
All sides are enclosed with smooth containment walls, netting, or angled trampoline walls to prevent accidental impact and provide full protection.
Trampoline Bed Layout:
Trampoline (TC) beds are arranged with precise spacing to ensure safe landings and consistent performance.

Minimum 96 inches (2.4 m) from center to center between trampoline beds.

Minimum 48 inches (1.2 m) of clearance from the outer trampoline bed to the surrounding walls or netting.

Safety Design:
The foam pit area is surrounded by soft, impact-absorbing materials that help reduce injury risk during landings or dismounts.
These standards guarantee that every foam pit area meets the highest safety and comfort requirements, providing users with both fun and confidence in every jump.

Foam Pit Standard Dimensions

In a trampoline park, the foam pit area should be surrounded by smooth containment walls, netting, or angled trampoline walls to ensure user safety.
According to the layout example:
There must be a minimum clearance of 48 inches (1.22 m) between the trampoline beds and the containment walls on all sides.
The distance from center to center of two adjacent trampoline beds should be at least 96 inches (2.44 m).
The same minimum clearance of 48 inches (1.22 m) is required between the outer edge of the trampoline area and the smooth containment walls.
This design ensures that users have sufficient space for safe landings and movements, preventing collisions with walls or other jumpers. The foam pit area is typically filled with high-quality foam blocks or an airbag system to absorb impact effectively and guarantee a soft, safe landing.

Frames and springs to all performance trampolines shall be padded. All sides of performance trampolines and the sides of wall trampolines not adjacent to a performance wall shall incorporate either an immediately adjacent performance or wall trampoline or at least a 2 m border from the edge of bed to edge of bed of 200mm thick gymnastics landing matting.

Separation Between Park and Performance Trampolines

In accordance with 2PfG 2524 and PAS 5000 standards, there shall be no direct transition between a park trampoline and a performance trampoline. This separation is designed to ensure user safety, as performance trampolines provide significantly higher bounce and energy return compared to standard park trampolines. By preventing users from moving directly between these two zones, the risk of injury caused by differing rebound levels and user experience is effectively minimized.

Dismount Pit Access Requirements According to 2PfG 2524 and PAS 5000 standards, users are only permitted to dismount into a foam pit from park trampolines, not from performance trampolines. This rule is established to ensure safety, as performance trampolines produce much higher rebound energy, which could lead to uncontrolled landings or injuries when entering the pit. By limiting pit access to park trampolines, the facility provides a safer and more controlled environment for users of all skill levels.

Trampoline Park Design Requirements

1. It is only permitted to dismount into a dismount pit from park trampoline and not performance trampolines.
2.Both sides and the end of a dismount pit shall incorporate edge padding using an impact attenuation material.
3.A dismount pit shall only have entry points along one side
4.The exit routes from the pit shall be clearly identified and the exit route for a user shall not cross the entry route for any other user

Jump Platform Height Standard

According to international safety standards, the maximum drop height of any jump platform shall not exceed 2 meters above the top surface of the airbag or foam pit. This requirement ensures that users can land safely with proper impact absorption, minimizing the risk of injury. By controlling the drop height, the park maintains a safe and enjoyable environment for participants of all ages and skill levels.

Our dismount pit is designed with safety and performance in mind. The pit measures at least 5.5 meters in length, with a width that extends 400mm beyond each side of the trampoline bed. It has a minimum depth of 1.2 meters, fully filled with high-quality foam blocks to ensure a soft and secure landing for every jump. Begin by installing the wall in the Olympic trampoline area.Next, assemble the frames following the CAD drawing, and secure the wooden boards firmly according to the design layout.

9.Basketball Hoop Installation Instructions
Install the basketball hoop and backboard according to the provided installation drawings and the actual conditions at the site. Begin by carefully reviewing the drawings and reference pictures to understand the correct positioning and alignment of all components. Ensure that the mounting structure is securely fixed, level, and stable before attaching the backboard. All bolts, screws, and fixtures should be properly tightened to guarantee safety and durability. After installation, double-check the height, angle, and alignment of the hoop to confirm that it meets the standard requirements. Finally, inspect the entire assembly to ensure it is safe and ready for use

10.Spider Wall Installation Instructions
install the spider wall frame according to the installation drawings and ensure it is securely fixed and properly aligned. After confirming the frame is stable, proceed to install the wooden boards onto the frame. Carefully position each board, making sure they are level, evenly spaced, and firmly attached. Double-check all fastenings to ensure safety, stability, and proper alignment with the overall structure before completing the installation
